Cinders Nelson's Star of Hope Tribute Page

As many of you will know, at the end of March this year I joined Andrew Yeats and Abi Jacobs on a cycling trip from Land’s End, to raise money and awareness for the charity Bowel Cancer UK. We cycled in memory of Lucy ‘Cinders’ Nelson, Andrew’s wife and our great friend, who died of bowel cancer in 2022.

Andrew and Abi cycled all the way from Land’s End to John 0’Groats [“LEJ0G”]. However, time commitments meant I had to stop at Gretna on the Scottish border. I committed then to doing the next stage: so, from Monday 2nd September I’ll be on a solo cycle trip, camping as I go, covering the length of Scotland from Gretna to John 0’Groats – “SC0TJ0G”!

As before, I’ll be wearing my Bowel Cancer UK cycle top, helping to raise awareness of the charity’s work. I’ll also be raising money again, so please do make a donation if you are able.
