Cinders Nelson's Star of Hope Tribute Page

My son, Rufus, and I are running the York 10k to raise money towards research into bowel cancer, in particular to catch it early and to prevent its spread. In memory of a most wonderful friend I will run every moment of the way and think of her as I do so - particularly when my tired old legs begin to complain. Cinders would, should and perhaps, in some way, will be running alongside me, chatting without pause and beaming with happiness. Rufus and I run for her, and for friends and neighbours who are currently battling this awful disease. We run for all.
